Dear Participants at Balkan Olympiads in Informatics 2007,Welcome to the Republic of Moldova! It its 15th edition, Balkan Olympiads in Informatics have already become an event of an international importance. It is an honour and a big responsibility for us to host Balkan Olympiad in Informatics this year in Chisinau, the capital of the Republic of Moldova. We are happy that the most gifted students from Balkan region of Europe will have the possibility to prove their knowledge and skills in Informatics. We, the hosts of the Olympiad, will make all the efforts to provide the best conditions during the competition. In addition, your achievements at the National, Regional and International Olympiads are a good example for other students attending schools and lyceums in the countries that are you coming from.
Dear friends, The most important event of the Olympiad will be, of course, the competition. I wish it held in a “fair play” atmosphere, because our biggest pleasure is your success and high results. Moreover, I encourage you to make use of this nice opportunity and learn more about Moldovan culture, establish contacts and build friendships with the students from Moldova and other countries that take part at Balkan Olympiads in Informatics.
